Add an “Additional” check
The employer will be paying the FICA taxes, so the amount of the allowance must be grossed up.
Gross up Auto Allowance = Auto Allowance/0.9235 (this will cover the FICA taxes)
Enter this amount in the field for the Auto Allow Paid
Ex: Auto Allowance = $2000 Gross Up Auto Allowance = $2165.67
Enter the Auto Allowance under the Advance deduction to zero out the check
Block all other taxes if needed
