Add Funds to Meter Funds are added to the machine directly from the machine. Select the button that looks like a dollar and coins, and it will walk you through the steps. We add $500.00 at a time.
Meter – Can No Longer Add Funds When the meter machine will no longer allow you to add funds, it will display the message: "Warning: Postal Transaction failed [X] hour(s). Please connect your franking machine." We have an account line of credit — when we add funds, the amount is charged to the line of credit and paid automatically each month. During year-end, we mail so much that we hit this credit limit and cannot wait for the auto payment. Reach out to Cecilia Ankele and ask her to pay the meter machine balance through her Quadient account (Quadient is the brand of the meter machine).

Once the new cartridge is installed, the meter machine will prompt you to send a paper through to print on. Review the printed output and select the letter that best represents a single aligned line.
